What happens if she doesn't reply?
You set the window in setup (default is 2 hours). If there's no reply by then, we text the family contact you named, which is required at signup. If she replies NEED HELP, we alert you immediately, with no waiting.
Is this a medical alert system?
No, and we won't pretend otherwise. It doesn't detect falls, call 911, or monitor health. It's a daily wellness check that gets a human (you) involved fast when something seems off. For medical emergencies she still needs a real alert device or a phone.
Will it feel like surveillance to her?
It's built not to. One warm text a day, addressed to her by name, answered with a word. No app to learn, no device to wear, no sense of being watched. Most parents read it as someone caring enough to say good morning.
How do I cancel?
Text CANCEL ELDERCHECK and we stop. No phone call, no retention rep, no guilt trip.
Does it work on my phone?
